Hi Kelly,
That should work fine, give it a try. Maybe we'll consider using the same
trick to make opening balances easier for other customers too - just let
them enter opening balances when they create their business and reconcile
the different as opening balance equity. If they want/need to clarify that
they can always adjust it themselves, I suppose.

I'm opting to create an equity account titled Opening Balance Equity as is included standard when using QuickBooks for my clients. The Balance Sheet should pick it up correctly with all equity accounts, am I wrong?
